Pinapple Ham with Rice

Pinapple Ham with Rice (Skinka med ananas)

 

This is a quick weeknight fix that is appreciated by the whole family! I like to serve this with rice and steamed veggies such as carrots and broccoli. I also recommend some sweet chili sauce for the rice, very good!

Ingredients

  • Cooked ham of your choice
  • Basil
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Pineapple tidbits
  • Sliced cheese of your choice

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to about 380 degrees F. Place the ham slices on a baking sheet. If the ham isn’t pre-sliced, please slice about 1/4 of an inch thick. Divide the basil, pepper flakes, and pineapple atop the ham slices.

2. Top with a slice of cheese on each piece of ham.

3. Bake in the oven. Keep an eye on the cheese throughout, and make sure it starts to bubble a bit.

4. Remove when the cheese is somewhat brown, about 20 minutes.
