Salmon Quiche

Salmon Quiche (Lax paj)


Yum! A very easy quiche to make, it just takes some time, but it is definitely worth the wait. Serve with a simple green salad.


  • 1 pie shell crust
  • 1/3 pound of salmon
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • A few slices of bell pepper
  • A few springs of dill
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper


1. Bake the salmon at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, until almost cooked through.

2. Prick the pie shell with a fork and bake for about 10 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, soak the broccoli in cold water.

4. Gently shred the salmon with a fork.

5. Combine the eggs, sour cream, heavy cream, dill and salt and pepper.

6. Start by placing the salmon at the bottom of the pie shell and top with broccoli.

7. Pour the egg mixture into the shell and place the bell pepper slices on top.

8. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes until golden brown. Make sure the egg mixture is cooked through.

9. Serve lukewarm!
