White Chocolate Cake with Rhubarb

White Chocolate Cake with Rhubarb (Rabarber kladd kaka)

 

This was my first time making this cake and it was a big hit with everyone. Yay!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of white chocolate
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 2 cup of white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons of vanilla syrup
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 2 sticks of rhubarb

Instructions

1. Slice the rhubarb into sticks.

2. Butter a spring form baking dish and put aside.

3. Melt the butter and add the chocolate. Stir until combined.

4. In big bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla syrup until combined. Add the chocolate mixture. Finally add the flour and stir until combined.

5. Pour the batter into the spring form.

6. Place the rhurbarb slices on the cake.

7. Bake at 390 degrees F for about 35 minutes until golden brown.

8. Let it chill for a bit before serving with ice cream or whipped cream.
